Autocomplete feature is VERY SLOW in CM

Description

My CM has autoupdated itself and now it has new real-time autocomplete feature. However, it is very, very, very slow. Every time I press any letter, CM freezes for 2~5 seconds. Now I need to type my query in text editor and paste to CM.

There are over 50 tables. I have attached a video which shows that I spent 1 minutes 16 seconds to write one query. You can notice that at the very beginning first words are fast, then for the rest CM becomes very, very slow. Please fix this.

It is able to occur if a database connection is very slow.
Because, it is needed some query to make tables and columns list.
We will fix this issue as soon as possible.

Why does CM need a database connection? All tables metadata should be cached and used from there. It should not request to DB every time a user types a letter. Please optimize it as it affect all users.

If you just connect database without expand left navigation tree,
it hasn't any table informations.

Now, this issue is occur only slowly to connect databases.
But, we will fix to optimize with a cache method as soon as possible.

CM freezes even if all tables in navigation tree are already loaded. So it is not a problem of whether the tables list is loaded or not. See the attached video.

Yes, I know.
But, it hasn't any tables/columns without expand all nodes on this issue.
In my opinion, it is a good way that has a simple cache and loading all information from a database,
while an user type some keywords.

We are optimizing it for this issue.

My CM on Mac has just been autoupdated, and I confirm that the problem is now fixed. Also tried on Windows, no problem. Ovidiu, can you confirm on your machine?
